Hot on the heels of data from 5 Merseyside GPs Patient Lists being handed to Palantir
The debate over being able to opt-out of your personal medical records being used for research and analysis, including access by local authorities, and data companies, continues as NHS England refuses to allow Opt-out of the Palantir designed and maintained NHS Federal Data Platform (FDP).
On checking to ensure your wishes over your personal medical data have been honoured (nhs.uk/your-nhs-data-matters/manage-your-choice/), you will see this notice to the right is prominantly position on the sentre of the NHS website page above.
It is worth checking this page, because there have been anecdotal cases of the status being changed, allowing sharing of medical records, since Palantir were given the £330 Million contract to develope the NHS Federal Data Platform.
Patient medical data is being shared by NHS Digital in the form of requested data-sets which can include medical data complete with identifying factors within the data-set.

Whilst you can object to your medical data being shared, NHS patients cannot opt-out of the Palantir controlled NHS FDP which is being developed using live and totally identifiable data.
